Black Tower Brașov

Located on Warthe Hill, just opposite from Tâmpa Hill, the Black is one of the first defense towers of Brașov. Built in the 15th century, the Black Tower received its name after it got hit by lightning on July 23, 1559, and caught fire. Picture © Credit to: iStock/ramonageorgescu
