Tourism activity concentrates mainly in the Prahova Valley, where you find some of the best tourism facilities in Romania, such as the resorts in Sinaia, Bușteni, Azuga and within the Bucegi Mountains. Other notable tourist destinations are: the city of Ploiești and Câmpina and the Teleajen and Doftana river valleys. Its capital city, Ploieşti, is the second most important railway hub in Romania with connections to almost every major city in the country.
