After the night of the winter solstice, the longest of the year, was consumed, on December 22, 2010, the History Museum awaits the cultural event entitled "The Longest Night". At 17.30, the traditional cross of candles is lit in honor of the Romanian Revolutionary Eroyllium, at the flagship, next to the museum. There follows a lyrical medallion supported by the poet Ion Beldeanu, and the opening of the exhibition of the plastic artist Nicolae Zepciuc - "Revolution of 1989". At 19.00 hara carols concert and at 20.30 a folk music show featuring as interpreters Mihaela Popescu and Cornel Angelescu. In the end of the artistic cultural manifestations, the poet Ioan Manole presents in Memoriam Adrian Paunescu.
