The Fortified Church of Saschiz

This gothic church is located in the middle of Saschiz village, in central Romania. Built in the 13th century, the church used to be surrounded by a wall that contained 6 towers. Only one of them is still standing today, the Church Tower. Picture © Credit to: istock/davidionut
