The Ivolginsky Datsan, near Ulan-Ude

The Ivolginsky datsan is a Buddhist temple nearby Ulan-Ude, Southern Siberia. Located in the village of Ivolga, 30-40 minutes away from the capital of Buryatia, this datsan presents a true cultural and architectural landmark. A home to the Buddhist Traditional Sangha, this datsan is also a residency of Khambo lama Pandido, a spiritual leader of all lamas spread across Russia.
