This calm, untouched beach has its own unique character, making it a favorite of locals.
Bele Skale translated from Slovenian literally means ‘White Rocks’. This is a very suiting name as the beach was made from pieces of limestones that detached from the cliffs and crashed into the shore. On the shore, visitors make sculptures out of the rocks, which is a distinct feature of this beach.
This is one of the most well-preserved beaches in the Slovenian Riviera. It is a vacant, tranquil destination that is perfect for a romantic getaway, or for nature lovers looking for some peace and quiet. It’s very well-known in Slovenia, so it's a stretch to call it a hidden gem, but the lack of people and facilities make it feel like an undiscovered treasure!
-There are no facilities on the beach. Bring your own umbrellas, chairs, food, and water.
