This medieval castle is one of the oldest in Slovenia, and is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the country.
Lake Bled is one of the places that draws in the most tourists in Slovenia, and rightfully so. When you’re visiting Lake Bled, it's hard to miss Bled Castle. The castle holds a museum on the inside teaching the history of the Bled area and the royals that once resided there.
Bled Castle is also home to some of the most spectacular views over Lake Bled. The walk up to the top of castle hill is about 10 minutes, and it's worth every step! The path is also lit up at night, allowing you to get the best views of the lake after dark.

- Come during the first weekend of June for the medieval festival. Suitable for all ages, the castle turns back time and is filled with different entertainment!

- Lake Bled is about an hour and 15 minutes by bus from Ljubljana.
