One of Slovenia’s most beautiful waterfalls is known for its distinctive, mysterious entrance, and green waters.

Kozjak Waterfall is a picturesque, emerald green waterfall located in the Triglav National Park. The waterfall is surrounded by lush vegetation, making it incredibly scenic when hiking along the trail to the waterfall. The waterfall itself is hidden in an open karst cave, and is about 15 metres high.

The hike to Kozjak waterfall takes about 45 minutes, and it is a relatively easy path that is well marked. During summertime, you may see some people heading into the waterfall’s clear waters for a swim.

This is totally doable, but keep in mind the waterfall’s pool is ice cold!
