Portorož Beach is located in the resort and spa town of Portorož, right next to Piran. Known for its healing therapeutic treatments from the salt-pans nearby, Portorož attracts tourism, especially in summer, for anyone looking to relax.
The beach itself is organized with umbrellas, chairs, and sunbeds available for a price. There are also many bars and restaurants nearby as it is located right along the town. It is more of a city-beach, and not very naturesque, but the waters are still gorgeous and warm in the summer as well. Another great quality about this beach is the sandy shore. Most beaches in Slovenia tend to be super pebbly and rocky, and while the water is in Portorož, there is a sandy area leading up to the sea.
