Strunjan Beach is located in Strunjan Nature Reserve, similar to the nearby Moon Bay Beach. Strunjan Beach is more accessible than Moon Bay Beach, and has the same stunning views that you would find at Moon Bay beach, making it the perfect beach stop if you’re not able to make the hike!
Strunjan Beach has views throughout the incredible bay, floats for diving and jumping for kids, free washrooms, a small restaurant, and a grass area with umbrellas and seats for purchase. All these amenities make Strunjan Beach an easy place to spend the whole day. The waters are warm in the summer, and the sea is easy to enter as the beach is equipped with handrails and stairs.

- Bring water shoes! The beach is very rocky

- Take a short taxi or bus from Piran to Strunjan
- If you have a car, you can drive and park at Strunjan Nature Reserve’’s parking lot. This costs €5 per day
