Just a 15 minute train away from the famous Lake Bled is one of Europe’s most incredible hikes.
Don’t miss Vintgar Gorge when you’re visiting Lake Bled. Just 15 minutes from Bled Station is one of the most impressive hikes in the continent. From Podhom station, you’ll see signs pointing to the stunning walk.
Vintgar Gorge is located in Triglav National Park, and was made by the Radovna River. The walk is along boardwalks, and isn’t a too difficult hike, said to be kid-friendly and relatively easy. The hike takes around 45 minutes, so bring water especially during summer months!
Enjoy the emerald green waters of the river and make sure to stop for some photo-ops! The boardwalks sometimes are suspended over the river, acting as a bridge. These are great places for your pictures during the hike!
