Hiking on the Chemins de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle

Within the framework of the Compostelle Trail in France, 71 monuments and 7 sections of roads have been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1998 under the official title of "Roads to Santiago de Compostela in France" .

In addition to this World Heritage inscription, the Compostela Trails as a whole also obtained the first Council of Europe European Cultural Route (ICE) label in 1987.
