Magaluf Beach

In the southwest area of Mallorca, in the municipality of Calvià and about 20 minutes from Palma, is Magaluf, a very touristy area of the island that has a wide sandy beach almost 2km long. This beach of turquoise and calm waters is shallow, so it is recommended for the youngest visitors. The islet in the middle of the sea, in front of the beach, is known as Illa de sa Porrassa and is a nature reserve. The surrounding waters are highly recommended for diving. © iStock / LUNAMARINA
