The Palace of Catalan Music was projected by the architect Lluis Domenech i Montaner as the Orfeó Catalan and built between 1905 and 1908 with funds from public subscription. Icon of Modernism, was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997.
The Palace of Catalan Music has witnessed social and musical life of Barcelona for over 100 years and today is a cultural living and dynamic open world, which annually hosts more than 300 concerts and nearly 200,000 visitors.
