Playa de Pals

Playa de Pals is a huge sandy beach that stretches for 3.5 kilometres and is divided into two distinct parts: Playa Gran and Playa del Grau. Thanks to its pine groves, dunes and the fantastic views of the Medes Islands that can be seen from the shore, Pals Beach stands out for its spectacular beauty. Its strip of fine golden sand, with an average width of 70 metres, is the perfect place to play volleyball or simply to unwind and relax, as it is not usually very crowded.

Playa de Pals is part of the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park, so there are numerous hiking routes in the surrounding area. © Istock/JR2
