Varberg's cold bath house stands on piles in the sea (Kattegatt) on the seafront in Varberg. Here you can swim in different men's and women's wards, both equipped with a sauna.

Since the breakwater was built from the northwest corner of the fortress and Klöven, Getterön, the cold bath house is located within the harbor area.

The current cold-water house is the third to be erected, since two earlier - the oldest of them from 1866 - have been spoiled by the severe west coast storms. The current bath house has been standing since 1903. After the exterior was renovated to its original condition during the 1990s, the cold bath house was re-opened in 1996. ©Wikipedia/ Maukie
