What happens when one man tries to build a tower dedicated to the fantasy genre? Enter the Eben-Ezer Tower to find out!

  • After WW2, a man named Robert Garcet had an idea: to build a tower dedicated to mythology and symbolism of peace. What exactly does that mean? He built a stone tower with his bare hands, decorated with fantastic fantasy creatures on the rooftop! If you’re into the world of make believe, this place is worth checking out.
  • Inside the building is a museum, where you can take a tour around the various writings, sculptures, and philosophies practiced by the builder Robert Garcet. The tower has six different levels with various exhibitions, including the life and work of Robert, the cherubim room, the tower’s construction history, and symbols that represent figures from the apocalypse. A visit to the tower lasts about 1.5 hours, and you can walk through this otherworldly building on your own, or book a guided group tour to receive even more information on this strange place.
  • Visiting during winter? Make sure to stop by the Caves of Wonck: the underground caves that host the annual Christmas markets! Just a 20 min drive from the tower and you’ll find yourself in an underground winter fantasy land located 700 meters underground!
