Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre

A 'modernist' style shopping centre built in the 1960s which eventually became a place for small local businesses as opposed to big chain companies. The shopping centre is nowadays the heartbeat of London's Latin American community with a range of Latino cafes, bars and restaurants and a large number of Spanish speaking clientele.
