The southern areas like Dorset, Cornwall and Sussex are the best place to visit for beaches, sunshine and beautiful but rugged coastlines. The central area contains London and Birmingham, the two largest cities (10 million and 1 million people respectively) as well as slightly smaller cities like Liverpool and Manchester. These cities (the ones outside of London particularly) are becoming incredibly popular in the last few years, with amazing food, entertainment, art and culture growing year on year. The north of England holds much of the farming land, as well as stunning national parks like the Peak District, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. London has several airports that are the gateway to almost anywhere you’d like to visit in the world, and there are regional airports in many of the smaller cities as well, with Birmingham Airport and Liverpool Airport being amongst the cheapest. Getting around the country is easy and hassle-free, if slightly more expensive than public transport in mainland Europe. The trains run very well, and are clean, but they are quite expensive. Perhaps the best way to get around is by bus with two main companies – Megabus and National Express. English cuisine is really a mix of everything, with more than 50,000 pubs to find traditional England food, as well as a lot of Indian, Chinese food in almost every town and city as well.

The Museum of the Jewellery Quarter is a museum at 75-79 Vyse Street in Hockley, Birmingham. It is one of the nine museums run by the Birmingham Museums Trust.
In 2008, the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter was named as the third best free tourist attraction in Europe by TripAdvisor, behind the Pantheon in Rome and the National Gallery in London.

 Still lived in by the Strickland family, Sizergh has many tales to tell and certainly feels lived in, with centuries-old portraits and fine furniture sitting alongside modern family photographs.
The exceptional wood panelling culminates in the Inlaid Chamber, returned here in 1999 from the Victoria and Albert Museum. The 647-hectare (1,600-acre) estate includes limestone pasture, orchards and semi-natural woodland.

Set on a gentle hillside in the centre of the Blackdown Hills, we are a within a landscape of a forgotten time. Small fields with stone filled hedge banks and narrow lanes are just one of the features. 
Here in our family home, we offer you a choice of a king ensuite and/or double rooms with private bathrooms. The bathrooms have claw feet baths and all showers are power showers. High speed internet is available throughout the property and in the lovely gardens, even beside the heated swimming pool. We have our own private spring water supply which is kind to your skin and makes our bread taste wonderful. All foods are locally sourced, completely free range  and the bacon and sausages are from the pigs you can see on the hillside. The property is completely enclosed by farmland, yet has  a well maintained drive and plenty of secure parking.

Nestled in a row of historic timber-framed buildings, the museum was established in 1980 in memory of the writer and naturalist John Moore.

Today it is also home to an extensive Natural History collection featuring specimens of the mammals and birds native to our countryside, woodlands and wetlands. 

A few doors away is The Merchant's House,a two storey building which has been beautifully restored and furnished to show the construction of a 15th century shop and dwelling.

We are also manging the historic Old Baptist Chapel, situated across the road.
