A home from home in a beautiful village of Aberdyfi.
Tyddyn Rhys farm is run by a Welsh family and is situated above the beautiful village of Aberdyfi, within walking distance of the beach, pubs and shops. We have two double bedrooms, both en-suite, and a luxurious caravan available.
As a result of it's elevated situation it commands panoramic views of the Dyfi estuary and the coastline of Cardigan Bay, stretching as far as New Quay and on a very clear day, the tops of the Pembrokeshire hills. The area around the farm is ideally suited for bird watching and walking. Some of our regular visitors are Red kites. There are a few locally produced books that highlight localmpaths, ranging from a 1-2 mile walk in and around the village to a 15+ mile daily route
Another popular attraction is the Cambrian Coast railway, which can be used as a way of exploring the coastline with it's castles, scenic estuaries, mountains and coastal towns.
There are many sporting activities in and around Aberdyfi , the foremost being it's championship gold links, which was described by Bernard Darwin as "the course that my soul loves best, of all the courses in the world". Also within easy reach there is sea or fresh water fishing, clay pigeon shooting, mountain bike centre, boarding centre, water sports, kite surfing hire and tuition, swimming pool and leisure centre.
The area also caters for less energetic activities with its mile of golden beaches or its nostalgic rides on a choice of narrow gauge railway, the nearestfour miles away.
En-suite double bedroom £70 per night
