From April to September, if the sun is out, Brusselers tend to spend most of their free time outside. Pop-up bars and open-air events are hugely popular and gather a large crowd every day of the week. Here is a selection of the best afterwork and dancing events to socialize while (trying to) get a tan!

Brussels Afterworks: Find one on each day of the week!

If dancing, drinking and socializing are rather your remedy to forget a heavy day at work; Brussels has all you need every single day of the week.

On Monday, from April to September Cospaia welcomes you on its majestuous rooftop terrace for its Pretentious Monday event. A lovely place to get to after a shopping spree, with a 180° view on the luxurious Boulevard de Waterloo.

Every Tuesday, meet at Bar Mardi! Who said Tuesday had to be a quiet day? Certainly not the many people meeting at Bar Mardi just a few steps away from Parc du Cinquantenaire. A great occasion to network, relax, and have a great time to start the week.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, explore local and European gastronomy with Brussels European Canteen. This is a weekly outdoor market gathering dishes from all parts of Europe. A great place for food explorers look for new tastes! The Chatelain Market is also a great destination as it welcomes Brussels quality local producers and has a few places where you can sit and drink.

On Thursday from 5pm, Là Haut Viage offers you one of the best views of Brussels from above. This summer popup bar found its place at the top of the Viage Casino. A welcoming atmosphere offering you a great view on Brussels city centre, with a large collection of cocktails and great drinks.

On Friday, check out one of the many 'Guinguettes' (French for outdoor bar) located in Brussels parks. These outside bars usually open every afternoon and early evening during spring and summer time. They definitely are a great destination to start the weekend!

At the weekend: take your dancing shoes to Brussels squares and parks

In the last few years, the Brussels electronic music scene came out to the parks to create new outdoors dance floors often joined by original pop-up bars. ON! Afternoon takes places in several places around the capital, including Tour & Taxi Park, Café des Halles.

The well-named Brüxel Jardin also makes a good use of Brussels squares and green spaces, organizing open-air events on Place Poelaert amongst other places. There you will be able to dance to one of the best views on the city. Brüxel Jardin also organizes events in Tour & Taxi for a more industrial outdoor ambiance.

The Parc de Bruxelles also known as Parc Royal is a new home to the recently opened Woopecker, this kiosk welcomes a nice coffee place and bar which makes it perfect stop on a sunny day. Just in front of it, you will find another kiosk, which is home to Kiosk Radio, a new webradio br[oadcasting every afternoon on the internet.](https://www.livetheworld.com/post/) Organizers often put outdoor speakers in front of the kiosk, making the park a nice place to dance.

These open air events and places make Brussels a wonderful city to enjoy in spring and summer time and are awesome places to socialize and meet new people. Whether you're a visitor, a new comer or a long time Brussels resident, you will love their varied offer and the numerous events they organize when the sun is out.
