There are plenty of cafés all over Malmö serving high-quality coffee. Do what Swedes love – go for a fika!

The coffee culture is very strong in Sweden.** Malmö** is, as Stockholm,* a city full of different types of cafés. Many serve locally roasted coffee, others are unique in the interior, and some have been running for more than 100 years. Here are some of the best places to go for a **fika in* Malmö**.

Local Coffee

For the coffee enthusiasts, Lilla Kafferosteriet, the Little Coffee roastery, is a must-visit. Serving its own locally roasted coffee, **Li*lla Kafferosteriet **is popular among those who enjoy their high-quality coffee. If you crave some cakes, fear not as the café serves delicious treats from one of the most popular bakeries, **Olof och Viktors. ***The establishment is located in an old building from the 17th century, but the café is more cozy than antique.

Another** local coffee roaster **is Love Coffee. They are located in **Lund**, **Malmö’**s neighboring university city. In Malmö, their coffee is served at Noir Kaffekultur, Noir Coffee Culture. Noir Kaffekultur is found in some of the oldest parts of Malmö. Walk around the narrow cobblestoned narrow streets and enjoy the architecture before popping in at Noir Kaffekultur.

The traditional choice

If you are looking for a** traditional café,** then Hollandia is the place to go. Located on one of the main shopping streets in central Malmö, Hollandia has become almost an institution for the fika loving people of Malmö and Sweden. It is a konditori, which is a bakery serving cakes and sweet bread.

Slottsträdårdens Café is another must visit when in Malmö. It is located in the oldest park in Malmö, called Slottsträdgården. The café has a beautiful outdoor seating area right in the middle of the park. From here, you can view the castle grounds, the park, and one of the canals running through the central parts of Malmö. Even though the café has a very central location, you get a feeling of being far away from the city.

Small gems in a big city

**Au*gust No Stress Surf Café ***is a little gem in the big city. Inspired by the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee Shop in North Dakota in the US, the café is a place for everyone, with a friendly vibe and good coffee. The people working here all have some form of disability, and working at the café gives them the work experience needed for the labor market.

Jord Malmö,** Earth Malmö**, is a café and concept store in a beautiful environment. The café serves fantastic coffee and products from local and small producers. Their motto is sustainability, and they serve breakfast all day long. Can it get any better?
