But no, this time I won’t go off the touristic trail…at least not yet! Let’s suppose that you only have one day in Athens…let’s say for example that you have a flight leaving from Athens and you only have 24h to see the city! What would you do and where would you go?! To sum it up for you, with equal measures of grunge and grace, Athens is a heady mix of history and edginess. Cultural and social life plays out amid, around and in ancient landmarks. The magnificent Acropolis, visible from almost every part of the city, reminds Greeks daily of their heritage and the city's many transformations… Let’s see in brief a few landmarks and things that shouldn’t be missed out when you travel for the first time in Athens!
