World-wide the amusement parks create a business of over $30 billion, largely generated by Disney parks located on the five continents. The entertainment industry, constantly growing, is considered essential in creating employment and stimulating tourism flows. An example comes from Orlando, in Florida, that can be considered the capital of fun parks and counts over 14 major resorts that attract more than 100 million visitors each year, and in Dubai where many theme parks have been opened in recent years and others are in the near future. The battle is played on the technology front, with attractions that require investments of millions of dollars roller coasters ever higher and faster. Also in Europe we can find amusement parks that attract millions of visitors. The most famous surely is Disneyland Paris, Europe's favorite tourist destination, Europa Park and PortAventura. These theme parks deserve to be visited for the wide range of high standard attractions embedded in scenic settings of great impact. Italy can also boast a large number of amusement parks, including theme parks, aquapark, wildlife and adventure parks, all of them mostly of small or medium size. The favorite amusement parks by the Italians are Gardaland and Mirabilandia, at the moment the only ones able to compete with the realities present abroad. Let’s start to have a look to the parks located in the noth of Italy!!
