You are traveling with your family and children to Paris, and you are looking for some tips and ideas on how to make your visit unforgettable. In this story, I will share with you some great places specially designed for children such as galleries, movies and parks. I am taking you to the Children’s Gallery, the Cinematheque française and the Parc floral de Paris. The Paris with kids guide is the best way to prepare your family trip to the French capital.

Children’s Gallery

I am sure your children will be more than happy to visit The Children’s* *Gallery (the Galerie des Enfants) inside the National Museum of Natural History. This museum was founded during the French Revolution, but its origins lie, however, in the royal garden of medicinal plants, which was created by French king Louis XIII in 1635. The Children’s* *Gallery, which is a part of this museum, is a place of wonders and learning, designed especially for children from 6 to 12 years old. Here, they can learn and ask everything they want to know about the plants and animals. A lot of stuffed animals and interactive games will make their visit to the Children’s* Gallery *fun and educational. The Gallery is open every day, except on Tuesdays, from 10 am to 6 pm. The family ticket price is 35 euros.

Cinematheque Française

Established in 1936 and located in an incredible building designed by Frank Gehry, an American architect, The Cinémathèque Française is a place that holds one of the largest archives of movie documents and movie-related objects in the world. Here, you can see movies from all around the world. every Wednesday and Sunday afternoon, and every day from Wednesday to Sunday, during the school holidays, The Cinémathèque Française proposes the movies made for children. And this is not all. Children can also participate in the workshops that explore some of the mysteries of cinema such as special effects, projection, animation, sound recording, etc.

Parc Floral de Paris

After galleries and movies, let’s go to a park! In this Paris with kids guide, I am taking you to the Parc Floral de Paris. This is not just an ordinary public park and a botanical garden. This is a magical place, opened in 1969, that offers many interesting outdoor activities for you and your children. In this park, you will find an incredible playground for children. There is even a mini-golf course made as a miniature version of Paris, where each of the 18 holes represents one Parisian monument, from the Pantheon to the Eiffel Tower. During summer, the Parc Floral de Paris organizes a great musical festival named – Pestacles. This is a real music party for children and families that you shouldn’t miss. The entrance is free for children under 7.
