When it comes to spas, Es[tonia](https://www.livetheworld.com/post/estonia-a-small-country-that-makes-up-in-great-things-ihie) has a lot to offer, and I mean really a lot. When it’s crispy cold outside, warm up in a spa. When it’s sunny outside, relax in a spa by the seaside. So, take your relaxation to the next level in the best spas of Estonia.

World-famous author Ernest Hemingway once said: "In every port in the world, at least two Estonians can be found". But when you come to Estonia, in every city, village, seaside or lakeside, at least two spas can be found. Actually, Estonia has a long history of resorts and spas. It is said that salt and herb baths existed in here from the year 1813, making Tallinn the first resort town in the Russian Empire, when Russia's elite used to visit it. When it comes to choosing a resort for your spa vacation in Estonia, the choices are endless.

Laulasmaa – take a break by the seaside

The most popular choice, if you don’t want to go far from the capital, is Laulasmaa. Just 30 kilometers from Tallinn, you step out to a different world. Tall pine trees, the beach and tranquility make it a perfect spot to breathe in nature and just relax. After a day full of sauna and soaking in the pools, don’t go to sleep directly. Book a table in the restaurant Wicca, that is one of the best restaurants in all of Estonia. It is worth a trip even if you are not staying in the hotel. And before you get back to your warm and fluffy bed, grab a glass of wine and take a look at the sunset at the beach.

Hedon – a bit of history in resort town Pärnu

Pärnu is the summer capital of Estonia. In the summer, it fills with vacationers, enjoying the sun, beach, parties and cafes. rnu **never sleeps during the summer. One of the symbols of the Pärnu resort is a historical Mud Baths building, that was established in 1838. Nowadays, it is transformed into a boutique spa **that still has an authentic vibe, enhanced with a luxury feeling.

Narva-Jõesuu – the oldest resort in Estonia

Narva-Jõesuu has always been a favorite spot for the Russians. One reason is that it is close to the border, but that’s not the only one. When you get there, you will understand. Narva-Jõesuu SPA stands like a white boat in the middle of sea waves. Twelve kilometers of sandy beaches and pine woods will relax you on their own, so no wonder that many choose Narva-Jõesuu for their spa vacation. But this spa is not for modern visitors. They try to keep the 1930s vibe that, to be honest, is like a different world, but in a good way.

It would be impossible to present all the spas of Estonia, it would take the whole day to read, so it will be for you to discover. But for what it’s worth – Estonians surely know how to relax in spas, so you won’t be disappointed in the best spas of Estonia.
