From early May till late September, here takes place the biggest street food festival in all the Baltics - the Open Kitchen festival. During the festival, featuring every Friday and Saturday, this market is occupied by the best food trucks, restaurants and cafes. And the most thrilling thing is that this street food festival is under the open sky. With the great idea, people are bringing not only the tasty food but the summer vibes as well - the festival is full of music, DJs, even the various exhibitions can find a place there.

In this street food festival, every person can find what he likes - from vegetarians and vegans to the passionate meat lovers - there is everything. Among the most popular ones is “Karvė ir viščiukas” (Cow and Chicken) that offers the Texas style BBQ with Jamaican jerk-style. The good news is that this restaurant also has its own place in the city, so if you miss the Open Kitchen, you always can visit them there. For the fish lovers is “Žuvų paštas” (Fish delivery), a smoked and fresh fish truck straight from the best Lithuania’s rivers and lakes.
