If you are wondering where to stay in Tirana, after finishing your daily route with furgon then let me introduce you with the best place... Tirana BackPacker Hostel. This was Albania's first hostel, opened in 2005. It is located in a beautiful old villa just 5 minutes far from Skanderbeg Square.

The hostel has plenty of common relaxing spaces, a huge backyard, with lots of mandarin and orange trees, hammocks, sofas and instruments around! You have the chance to get free breakfast and vegan dinners, fantastic day tours and lots more.

Dorms occupy a large space, very comfortable, in a minimalistic style like almost every hostel has. Interiors are pretty interesting with a mix of styles and objects. In some corners you can feel the retro and vintage style and in some other parts you can show your Hippie spirit. Also, in this hostel you will meet a lot of locals and internationals who volunteer and work there. Everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is great and you won't feel excluded from any activity.

Even if you feel like not going out and doing your daily walk, this hostel will feel like a home to you and you can easily enjoy the cozy atmosphere and the lively conversations happening around. Not everyone would like to stay in a hostel because for those who didn't try it before the thought of staying in a hostel is associated with a loss of privacy since you have to share rooms, kitchen and almost every space with other hostelers. But look at the bright side, hostels are all about spontaneous adventures, engaging with different cultures and getting to know more yourself !

The neighborhood where this hostel is located, is very pleasent with shops, cafes, street markets and places to buy second hand clothes.
