In case you find yourself in Belgrade craving Italian food (maybe you got tired of cevapi?), I have already presented you the best place to try la crème de la crème of this cuisine in Belgrade. However, if decadent slice of pizza attracts your appetite, then I have made a perfect selection for you. As you know, high quality pizza, with perfect thickness of crust, sauce and fresh ingredients is not at all easy to find. But have no concerns, scroll down to see what are the top places to eat pizza in Belgrade.

Majstor & Margarita – the creative pizza

Majstor & Margarita is the place for you if you like to eat creative pizza, with different sauces, toppings, fresh and delicious flavours and soft and chewy crusts. In case you are homesick and longing for your mom’s cuisine, this is the closest you can find to a home cooked pizza. What is adorable about this place is that the funky, flamboyant oven is in the same room as all of the tables. Majstor & Margarita has a solution for people who love to walk and eat, as they offer individual size pizzas which is convenient to walk around the city and enjoy the best taste. However, if you find yourself there with friends, order as many different pizzas as you can to try out the flavors.  Located on Balkanska street, the pizzeria is hidden but not far from the crowds meandering around Hotel Moskva. This small and cosy place is perfect to visit with friends, but if you are a person who dislikes smoke while eating then this is not the right place for you.

Pizza Bar – casual pizza

If you are looking for a chill, family and kids and pet friendly place, with all sorts of different flavours of pizza and happy vibes, then Pizza Bar is the right place for you. The moment you enter this sweet and cosy place, you will smell the wonderful, intoxicating aroma of fresh, oven-baked pizza. Even though this is primarily a pizza restaurant, the menu covers a wide variety of both Italian and non-Italian dishes, and including breakfast and dessert. Their Chicago style thick crust pizza, which is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside, makes the Pizza Bar unique and irresistible. Pizza Bar is a perfect spot for a Sunday cheat meal and comfort food!

Comunale – fancy pizza

If you feel like going for a fancy meal, yet enjoying great artisan pizza, Comunale Restaurant is the perfect choice for you. Even though their menu is for every taste, I would definitely suggest not to miss their pizza, as it is exquisite. Wonderfully pleasant staff offer soft bread rolls with olive oil as a starter, which I warmly recommend you to try to resist, as you'll want to save your appetite for pizza. You will notice that Comunale Restaurant is busy almost all the time, flooded with both tourists and locals drawn to the riverside who are craving high quality pizza and perhaps celebrating a special occasion.

Bucko – the sweetest pizza

Finally, last but not least – Bucko pizza, the pizza of my childhood, located in Dorcol, Old Town of Belgrade. You will see the huge line of people patiently waiting to get their 2 euro slice of pizza that will definitely satisfy their hunger and create wonderful memories, because sometimes the simplest things are the sweetest.
