We Love Green: the new generation festival in Paris

We Love Green is an electro-pop music festival organised every June since 2011 in the Bois de Vincennes, the largest public park and a green lung of Paris. But, We Love Green is much more than a simple music festival. This **new generation festival **is established as an event that respects the environment, and it is imagined as a great testing laboratory for sustainable development solutions. We Love Green also organizes many round tables, conferences and movie screenings about important ecological issues. This festival is a perfect place to have fun and learn how to respect more the planet Earth.

The concept

We Love Art, an agency specialized in designing and producing creative events, decided in 2011 to create a special music event. Their idea was to establish a festival, which will respect the environment and also raise public awareness when it comes to some very important ecological issues. The festival was named We Love Green, and it has become a real laboratory that explores questions regarding the management of waste and renewable energy. This unique Parisian festival offers every year a very eclectic musical program that goes from the electro to rap and indie music as well as the Think Tank laboratory hosting many interesting artists, scientists and activists. The screenings of the movies and documentaries are also organised during the festival, and all restaurants are preparing exclusively organic and local food. The 2019 edition of the We Love Green festival will be held on 1 and 2 June in the Bois de Vincennes. On the program: four musical stages with more than 100 concerts and DJ-sets featuring Christine and The Queens, Aya Nakamura and Metronomy, and the Think Tank stage with some 50 conferences named "Back To The Wildlife".

Eco-friendly solutions

We Love Green is the **festival **that loves eco-friendly solutions, even when it comes to the festival decorations. Every year, this **festival **organizes the Residence Workshops where young artists, designers and architects are creating the festival decorations by using the recycled materials. A jury made up of prominent designers and professionals from the world of art is helping the participants of this workshop throughout their creative process. Also, during this festival, a special stage, named the Startup Incubator, is dedicated to small companies with innovative green tech ideas.

Practical information

**We Love Green, the new generation music festival in Paris, **is held every year in June during two days, in the beautiful Bois de Vincennes. The price for a 2-day pass is from 89,5 to 119,5 euros. A special Kids area, a large outdoor playground is opened just for children from 3 to 10 years old. This space is free of charge, but the number of places is limited.
