India
India, a modest mini-continent
Rajat Sharma
I'm a visual artist from Delhi who holds an MA in Media Arts and Practices with a specialization in Films. I research and write about postcolonial/decolonial cinema and gender identity/depiction. Since the last four years, I have been moving around pretty much, sometimes within cities, sometimes to a completely different country. But, so far nothing has inspired me more than the labyrinths of chaotic streets of Delhi and everything it has to offer at every turn. However, once in a while, I enjoy to rejoice in the calm and tranquility of the Himalayas or fade in the mystical trans-Himalayan region. I adore getting lost in old cities such as Kolkata and Hyderabad. Quite frequently, I find myself in these places admiring different cuisines, cultures, lifestyles and people.
