Zillertal Arena is the largest skiing area of the world's largest skiing valley Zillertal stretching over 4 mountains and two Austrian federal states Tyrol and Salzburg. With 143 kilometres of slopes and 52 cable cars and lifts it offers skiing possibility for everyone from beginners to professionals.

Peculiarity of this skiing area is that the slopes can easily be reached from 4 different villages Zell am Ziller, Gerlos, Krimml and Königlseiten.

Zell am Ziller is the small idyllic village and the gateway for skiing area. Its is famous for its more than 5 centuries old folk festival the Gauder Fest, held in May, which is even included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List. Festival is known by its very strong beer, specially brewed by the local brewery for this occasion.

Zell is the end station of the longest valley run in Austria called ‘Height Devouring Tour’, this 10 km long run boast almost 2000 m of vertical drop.

One of the highlights is the 1.5km long alpine roller-coaster Arena Coaster, which is in operation year-around. This gravitational hybrid of an alpine slide and a roller coaster is a treat for adrenalin junkies among you.

Gerlos is the most remote village in Zillertal, isolated for the centuries from the rest of the world connected only by the mule track today is one of the nicest ski resorts in Tyrol. Four ski runs lead directly to the village. For the freestylers the Snowpark Gerlos is place to be and for those who are looking for something else, 7km toboggan run, the longest in the Zillertal Valley can be found here. This natural toboggan runs is lit until 1 after midnight. „Snowtubing“ is the newest attraction of the area on one specially prepared run you can try out this adventure.

The Action-Park Kreuzwiese offers, among numerous other highlights such as Snake Run, Speed Check track, a magnificent Bagjump.

Zillertal Arena offers 31 mountain huts and snow bars and despite its remoteness village Gerlos is famous for its lively night life in winter.
