Northeastern

Northeastern region is located in the north east of Macedonia. It borders Kosovo and Serbia to the north, and Bulgaria to the east.

The climate in the region is continental (warm summer and cold winter). There are a few mountains in the region such as Skopska una Gora mountains, Gradistanska mountains and Mangovina mountains. The region is also marked by the prehistoric period. You can visit places such as the astronomical observatory of Kokino. The cultural heritage is strong as there are many places to visit such as the memorial Ossuary, Saint Nicolas church, the church of Saint George.
