The red and purple sky at 23:59. The Gracious colours and appearance. The sky reminds you of awakeness in a dream. Your mind is used to darkness and the Sandman during nights. It won't get confused, rather intrigued.

In Europe, we have a lot more natural things to take part in. Hot Springs in Iceland, Hiking Zars mountains in Germany,  and Canyoning Hrčavka.

The evening opens up your mind for more relaxed thoughts. Truths are easier told when the body prepares for sleep mode. The midnight sun invites watchfulness and the experience is not like the light of daytime, this is the light of composure and tranquilness.

Ask pilgrims who visited Italy and they'll tell about the food. The ones in Greece mention the hospitality. The explorers who visited idyllic Northern Norway in the summertime will describe the good experience with the midnight sun.

The days of midnight sun occurs between Mai and July. Remember, we are talking about 24 hours sunlight! One feasibility is to travel to Norway in the Christmastime and experience the Aurora borealis. Some find it risky to take on this journey because witnessing the Northern lights are not for certain. The midnight sun befalls every year hereabouts because of the anticipated turning of our planets.

A memory of a lifetime is created with the midnight sun. In the same way, a movie is way more entertaining if the lighting is good and like the meal is enjoyed more if served visually appealing, the midnight sun is announcing ''I produce an exceptional light and I'm elegant even though I don't insert it in your face like the flamboyant daylight does''.

The questions corner

You might be concerned if you'll sleep well. The answer is that most Norwegian houses and renting places have curtains that cover the room and makes it dark inside.

Sunscreen is not needed for the midnight sun, you'll be fine. Even the Trolls of Norway should be a greater worry to you.

How to maximally enjoy the beautiful light we have

Take with you a tent and take an excursion up the mountaintop of a fancied mountain and you won't have to worry about going down before the darkness hits. When I started camping around Europe this was an unexpected encounter that also advanced my imagination because the darkness inspired me to think of three-headed Zombie Bears.

Cycling opportunities are vast and it's very special to do astounding jumps and tricks with your bike when only you and your GoPro is in the mountain.

Night Swimming is something incredibly memorable to do during the midnight sun. Comparable to the Southern USA wistfulness for Southern nights, bathing coupled with the freshness the water gives you is a bulletproof memory creator.

Reach Northern Norway for the midnight sun. You want to move North of the Arctic circle. The first prominent town North of the Arctic circle is Bodø. The more north the more midnight light. To be safe, I would continue to Narvik, it is seven hours from Bodø and has more midnight sun

Underground Norwegian trivia tells us an idea about creating a sovereign Arctic republic that rouses right beyond the Arctic circle in Storforshei. The most charming Motorcycle museum I've encountered is in this town! The further north we go, the stronger midnight sun we get. Svalbard is naturally a dream location for the adventurous minds who dare to visit. Svalbard's sun course doesn't set within April and August. Nordkapp is the iconic Northmost community of mainland Norway and an interesting road trip route for the thrill-seeking organizers
