This story is for the nature lovers... Welcome in the Honnelles, a part of the Natural Park of the Haut-Pays. A cute countryside where you will discover la Dolce Vita, green and wooded landscape, small villages with smiling and nice people, delicious local food and drinks and great walks. It's a good place to take a break far from the crowd and the stress and appreciate the magic of nature.

Let immerse yourself in a peaceful atmosphere and enter the forest, the Bois d'Angre on the way to the Caillou-qui-bique, a rock that is positioned on a very steep hill and that balances perfectly. Of course it attracts many curious people. According to a legend, the rock would be the result of the creation of the devil...The Caillou-qui-bique has inspired several writers including my cousin Aurélie in her beautiful novel written in French "Effrange".
In the Bois d'Angre, you can take very nice walks through the rivers, rocks and daffodils. It's a little enchanting world. There are several marked trails across the site and stone blocks engraved with the most beautiful verses of the poet Emile Verhaeren.

When spring arrives, it is always nice to go lounging by the water. Ponds of The Castle of Roisin is a nice place to relax, have a drink ( such as a good Belgian beer) or eat a typical dish (like a fresh trout for example).
Since 2017, the village of Montignies-sur-Roc is part of the association grouping the most beautiful villages of Wallonia. It has an exceptional historical wealth where there is currently an important craft activity. Don't miss it! One of the most beautiful places is its castle and the park that surrounds it, for a moment nature and absolute calm.
The castle of Montignies-sur-Roc also organizes exhibitions or events, such as the festival of art and nature, "Fê[te Art&Nature](https://www.livetheworld.com/post/)" in April, for a moment full of humanity, peace and discovery.
