Right next to the Czech Republic, this stunning park looks like it came out of a movie. Its rocky landscapes and breathtakingly beautiful canyons will mesmerise you. Saxon Switzerland National Park is definitely a great spot to visit with your significant other, since the whole view will probably make you fall in love again! If you want to check out the panoramic views of the ravines and forests of this gorgeous national park, you should first go to Carolafelsen. In this surreal park, you can jog in 100 km long trails, enjoy the views and of course simply get mesmerised by the amazing ecosystem. You can also climb on the rocky outcrops of these exquisite geological formations *-dating back to the Cretaceous period-* and have the best time ever! If you want to be around water, you can hire a rowing boat or take a boat excursion to enjoy the splendid view from the Elbe river.

Located in the eastern shoreline of the gorgeous Lake Müritz, Müritz National Park is welcoming everyone who is looking for a calm and serene time. This radiant park has more than 130 lakes, an ancient forest and splendid views. Well, I guess birds have a great taste, since Müritz National Park is a breeding ground** for some of the rarest and most endangered birds too. If you love birdwatching or you're interested in birds, there is no better place to be! Other than birdwatching, you can enjoy a long walk or cycle. If you like canoeing**, you can explore the park's lake on a canoe!

Looking very similar to White Cliffs of Dover in the United Kingdom, the Jasmund National Park is located in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the far north-east of Germany. This national park is famous for its dazzling white cliffs that welcome the Baltic Sea. If you are looking forward to standing on the gorgeous cliffs while gazing upon the bluest waves and greenest trees dating back to the 13th century, there is no other better place to be. Other than that, you can explore the Jasmund National Park by walking or attending cycling routes, excursions and seminars! You can also find regular tours by guides dressed up as the Germanic goddess Hertha and the famous pirate Klaus Störtebecker. According to the legend, they have buried their precious treasure on the island.

Located near Hamburg in the north of Germany, this amazing park contains three islands* **and of course fascinating coastal landscapes. These three islands are called the green island of Neuwerk, the dune island of Scharhörn and the artificial bird island of Nigehörn.* The Hamburg Wadden Sea National Park has also around 12,000 hectares of coastal mudflats,** which makes it very picturesque. If you are interested in history, you can head to the island of Neuwerk and check out the fortified tower in the Elbe estuary from the days of the Hanseatic League! You can also attend birdwatching tours or have a horse-drawn carriage ride **through the mudflats.
